After a long break, students from eight secondary schools in Skopje were again forced to leave the classrooms on Friday due to bomb threats. According to police information, bomb threats arrived on the official emails of the high schools “Vlado Tasevski”, “Korchagin” and “Josip Broz Tito”, etc.
The information was confirmed by the Ministry of Interior.
“Today at 11:40 a.m. it was reported to the Skopje Police Department that a threat of an explosive device was sent to the email address of eight secondary schools in Skopje. Immediately after receiving the report, measures were taken by police officers to safely evacuate the school and anti-terrorist checks are underway and measures are being taken to clear up the case,” said the Ministry of Interior, and added that the reports were false.
