The coordinator of the VMRO-DPMNE MP group Nikola Micevski said on Friday that the ruling majority in the Parliament is currently blocking itself because it does not have 61 MPs to hold sessions.
“I have not seen an increase in the majority since the beginning of the year. The Parliament cannot gather 61 MPs to determine the agenda and start a certain session. We see that there are conversations, and when they are over we will make a statement. Our opinion is that they currently do not have 61 MPs and that the Parliament is not working, that is, the active blockade of VMRO-DPMNE MPs is currently on hold. They are blocking themselves because they don’t have 61 in the Parliament,” MP Micevski said.
Regarding the comments that six to eight MPs from the ranks of VMRO-DPMNE are needed to reach the number of 80 MPs for constitutional amendments, Micevski says: In our country, there’s a saying “Mind your own yard first, before looking at other people’s yards”.
