the Minister of Internal Affairs of Bulgaria and Deputy Prime Minister Ivan Demerdzhiev led the Bulgarian delegation that on Saturday laid flowers in front of the grave of Goce Delchev in the “Sveti Spas” church on Skopje’s Kale to celebrate the 151st anniversary of the birth of the Macedonian revolutionary.

“Today, these security measures are necessary, and security means that everyone who wants to pay respect to Goce Delche can do so freely,” said Demerdzhiev after laying flowers on the great man’s grave together with representatives of the Bulgarian government.

The Bulgarian minister said that there were Bulgarian citizens who were prevented from entering Macedonia at the border and added that everyone should be given the opportunity to pay their respects.
