Romanian Orthodox Church recognizes the MOC-OA autocephaly

The Holy Synod of the Romanian Orthodox Church made a decision to recognize the autocephaly of the MOC-OA according to the tomos issued by the SOC on June 5, 2022.

According to yesterday’s decision of the Synod of the Romanian Orthodox Church, which is reported by the church website orthodoxtimes.com, the recognition is under the name “Archdiocese of Ohrid and of Macedonia, with headquarters in Skopje”, and the head is called “His Beatitude, Stefan, Archbishop of Ohrid, Skopje and Macedonia”.
