The Basic Criminal Court – Skopje announced that it fully approved the indictment against the doctor Zhan Mitrev and his clinic of the same name, which are charged with defrauding patients for a total amount of 97,461,600 denars. The first hearing is scheduled for February 28th.
“The Council for the evaluation of an indictment, acting in the evaluation of the accusation against a natural person and a private health institution, and related to the announcement of the Skopje Public Health Organization issued on January 23, valuing all the attached facts and arguments of the parties, passed a decision approving the act in its entirety. After the approved indictment, a criminal case was established with Criminal Code no. 349/23 which, according to the ACCMIS system (Automated Court Case Management Information System), has been allocated to a judge for further proceedings and a date for the main hearing is scheduled for 28.02.2023 at 09:30, for which invitations will be sent to the parties,” reads the announcement of the Basic Criminal Court – Skopje.
