In memory of the victims of the devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria, today (Monday) is a day of mourning in this country.
In the country and in front of diplomatic and consular missions, the flag will be dropped at half-mast.
The decision was made on Sunday by the Government, as an expression of solidarity and respect for the large number of lost human lives caused by the catastrophic earthquake that occurred in Turkey and Syria on February 6.
The number of people killed in the earthquakes, as of yesterday, reached over 33,000.
