The Government informs that the administrative procedures that were needed for the immediate procurement of the Trikafta medication for the most critical patients suffering from cystic fibrosis, and that in the short term, have been completed.
The delivery of the medicine for these patients is expected to be carried out by the supplier, in the fastest possible period, no longer than 30 days, according to the procedures.
For this purpose, over 2.2 million euros were approved by the Health Fund last week, and in cooperation with all relevant institutions, all procedures were completed in the past few days, which enable the smooth immediate procurement of the drug Trikafta for critical patients.
