Forty-eight reports were filed last year for workplace mobbing, of which 33 in the public sector, and only 15 in the private sector. These figures suggest the fact that mobbing or harassment in the workplace exists, but is rarely reported.
The employees fear that this will negatively affect their future work, experts and participants emphasized today’s conference where the results of the “Investigation on the method, scope and impact of harassment on the victims of mobbing”, carried out by “Glasen Tekstilec”-Shtip, were presented.
Kristina Ampeva from “Glasen Tekstilec” said that research shows that the biggest obstacle and problem is proving mobbing, that’s why in practice there are only two confirmed court judgments at the state level, both for the public sector.
