Today we are signing one of the most significant infrastructure contracts in our country. Corridors 8 and 10 will be built with the contract. This historical project is a strategic determination, we have developed infrastructure for the next generations, for the development of the economy, Macedonian Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski told the media before today’s signing of the agreement with the Bechtel – Enka consortium.
“The value of this contract reaches 1.3 billion euros, and the total length of the sections is almost 110 kilometers. With the construction of these corridors, N. Macedonia will become a more significant transport route and more noticeable on the world map. Our efforts for modern road and railway infrastructure are becoming a reality,” stressed Kovachevski.
