Pasta will become cheaper by 15 percent, and dairy products by 10 percent, and their prices will be frozen, Macedonian Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski announced on Friday.
The pasta decision covers macaroni and spaghetti. For these products, import customs duties are abolished from March 13 to May 31, 2023. The decision on dairy products, which will be in force from March 17 to May 31, 2023, refers to permanent cow’s milk with 2.8, 3.2 and 3.5 percent fat content, cottage cheese, cow’s and mixed white cheese, cows cheese, sour milk, sour cream and yogurt.
“The prices of dairy products are also frozen: permanent cow’s milk 2.8, 3.2 and 3.5 percent, cottage cheese, cow’s and mixed white cheese, cow’s cheese, sour milk, cream and yogurt. Prices are reduced by ten percent, and the decision is valid from March 17 to May 31, 2023,” Kovachevski said.
