There are no tapes to measure type 2 diabetes, glucometers, no innovative therapy, and sensors are necessary for childhood diabetes. These are the challenges faced by diabetics in the country, and the Association of Diabetics of Macedonia demands continuous monitoring of diabetes so as not to cause unwanted consequences.

The new association “Blue Revolution” was established in Prilep last night, which will take care of solving the problems of people with diabetes.

Dimche Velev, president of the Union of Diabetics of Macedonia, says that the situation with insulin has just been resolved, but other challenges remain for 116,000 people with diabetes in the country, of which 45,000 are on insulin therapy, and 600 are children and youth up to 18 years old.
