It will be very difficult to press the red button when the time comes to vote on the constitutional amendments and thereby isolate the country for the next 10 years, in conditions where an accelerated path for the region in the EU is emerging, the Macedonian Minister of Foreign Affairs Bujar Osmani said at the joint press conference with Albanian Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs Olta Xhaçka in Skopje on March 27.
Osmani says that the foreign partners give credibility and guarantee to the process, so this will convince the citizens and the parties.
“Well, I think that question will be asked by every Member of Parliament before pressing any button, whether it is for the mention of Croats, Montenegrins and Bulgarians in the Constitution, when they are also mentioned here in the category of others. I think that all MPs will think about the future of this country and its citizens,” said Minister Osmani.
