The procedure opened by the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime and Corruption for the selection of the supervision for the construction of the highways from corridors 8 and 10-e is in the preliminary investigation phase, announced the head Public Prosecutor Ljubomir Joveski on Thursday.
“Because of this, that is, the very stage in which the case is, for the time being the Prosecutor’s Office cannot share any information with the public about the actions being taken,” indicated the head of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
“The Public Prosecutor’s Office informs the public that the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office for organized crime and corruption has opened a preliminary investigation, a procedure with the supervision of highway construction and that this prosecutor’s office is currently taking the necessary public prosecutorial actions. Due to the procedure in which the case is located, we cannot provide more information to the public at this time. When the actions taken by the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the eventual decision can be communicated, you will be informed about it in a timely manner,” Joveski said.
