The Macedonian Minister of Interior Oliver Spasovski made an attempt on Saturday to summarize of all the improvements in the department in March of 2023.
Spasovski said that police salaries have been increased, that crime has been reduced in the first two months of 2023 compared to the same period last year, as well as that 48 percent of management positions in the organizational units of the Ministry of Interior are run by women.
“The beginning of a new month is always a good opportunity to remember what we have done so far. Ministry of Interior for the citizens: Transparent and accountable – March 2023. Satisfied police – safe citizens, salary increase by 3,086 MKD gross amount… the first session of the Parliament dedicated to the promotion of gender equality, at which we also commemorate 20 years since the establishment of the Club of Women’s Representatives , Forum of women leaders from Southeast Europe for good governance and anti-corruption, Conference organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy within the framework of the caravan for gender equality, saved 593,588 kilowatt hours of electricity at the level of the Ministry of the Interior in the first two months,” said Minister Spasovski.
