State Market Inspectorate collects over 2.5 million MKD in fines for non-compliance with the frozen prices

The State Market Inspectorate controls the prices of frozen products on the territory of the entire country on a daily basis. Since the beginning of the government’s decision to “freeze” the prices of certain products, more than 1,800 inspections have been carried out.

However, on several occasions, fines have been imposed that exceeded 2.5 million denars in total. Depending on the size of the legal entity, the amounts of the fines vary, ranging from 800 to 10,000 euros, the acting director of the State Market Inspectorate Goran Trajkovski told Telma TV.
