The Socialist Party of Macedonia (SPM) rejects the amendments to the Law on Labor Relations, which propose the introduction of overtime longer than previously foreseen, as shameful violations of labor rights and the introduction of exploitative relations contrary to the Constitution.

“The most corrupt Government, through its irresponsible deputies, demands that an illegal and unconstitutional solution be adopted in the construction of corridors 8 and 10d for the Bechtel and Enka consortium. It is a violent behavior that the government imposes without stopping in the Macedonian Parliament. By disrespecting and oppressing workers’ rights, which are constitutionally guaranteed, the government is working against the legal order and its own country,” the party said.
