Macedonian President Stevo Pendarovski in a message wished happy Easter to the Macedonian Orthodox Church head Stefan and all Orthodox believers as well as to Evangelical Methodist Church head Emil Zaev and the country’s Evangelical Methodist community.
“Celebrating Christ’s victory over death has a special place in every Christian’s heart and inspires faith, hope and love. May we dedicate ourselves to our loved ones on this holiday and share smiles, joy and optimism. May we together contribute to our homeland’s prosperity, progress, and good fortune. I sincerely hope Easter brings us good thoughts, optimism and inspiration to do good deeds and help anyone who needs our help and support, regardless of religion or ethnicity. May we bring light and warmth into our lives by resolving and resisting all crises, problems and temptations,” the head of state said in his Easter message.
