Former SPO prosecutor Katica Janeva works as a librarian in the Idrizovo state penitentiary.
“I don’t know exactly when she got out, but she did what she was allowed to do and went back to prison. As of this morning, she is already performing her current prison duties.
Janeva works in the library, she is a librarian. She uses weekends and goes out whenever the rules allow, we work strictly according to it. She is getting what she is entitled to in accordance with the part of the sentence served, prison director Zoran Jovanovski told Makfax.
Katica Janeva was sentenced to seven years in prison in the “Racket” case for abuse of official position and authority. She was arrested on August 21, 2019, and according to Jovanovski’s data, Janeva’s sentence will be served by August 21, 2026, but the possibility of a pardon is not excluded.
