In the competition for enrolling students in public secondary schools for the academic year 2023/2024, 259 dual classes with a total of 6,475 students are planned in cooperation with over 500 companies.
In order to increase the attractiveness of secondary vocational education, the Ministry of Education and Science also changed the scholarship policies. Scholarships in the monthly amount of 3,500 denars for 9 months of the year are paid to students enrolled in dual education. Companies have an obligation to organize practical training directly at the workplace, for which they must provide appropriate conditions – working environment, equipment and machines, the Ministry of Education and Science (MES) announced on Thursday.
