VMRO-DPMNE MP and Professor Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, in an interview with TV 24, said that if two-thirds of votes were needed for constitutional amendments, it should first be examined if there was majority, because that basic consensus was very important to enter into such a game.
“It is indecent, non-political, unscientific to enter into constitutional amendments, so during the discussion, a two-thirds majority will be sought. It doesn’t work like that. The Constitution is a kind of social charter and consensus is very important,” said the professor.
According to Siljanovska-Davkova, every opening of the Constitution in our country is the opening of Pandora’s Box.
