After the decision of the Constitutional Court, officials will receive 1000 euros higher salaries each, and the biggest increase this month will be President Stevo Pendarovski, Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi and Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski.
According to the new calculations, with the increase, the parliament speaker will be the politician with the highest salary of 166,000 MKD, 1500 MKD more than the head of state due to past work. The monthly salary of Prime Minister Kovachevski will amount to 156,000 MKD or more than 2500 euros. On the other hand, sums from 122,000 to 129,000 MKD will be placed on the accounts of the deputy prime ministers.
