The Skopje Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office issued an order to conduct an investigative procedure against a 23-year-old woman from Volkovo, Skopje, because there is a well-founded suspicion that she committed a crime – Accepting a bribe, and the court imposed a 30-day house arrest.
As the PPO announced, the suspect last May 18 and 19, as a professional soldier, directly requested and received money to perform an official action that should not have been performed.
She requested the money from her colleague, also a professional soldier in the Army, to “help” him in the selection of the publicly announced competition for the admission of officers. But for that she asked him to pay 3,000 euros, which she will allegedly forward to a person who has influence during the election.
