In Macedonia, a literal demographic cataclysm is happening right now, never less babies born and terrible, horrible demographic declines, said VMRO-DPMNE Executive Committee member Vladimir Gjorchev on Thursday.
“Only in March this year there are 18% fewer babies born than last year 2022. The year 2022 was by far the worst demographic year in the history of Macedonia with the least number of babies born, and in that worst year now in March we have 18% fewer additional babies born. It means empty schools, empty kindergartens, empty towns and villages, it means a desolate land. These numbers are appalling. These are the policies of Tache Kovachevski and Stevo Pendarovski. For Macedonia to live and survive, these policies of theirs must be defeated as soon as possible,” said Gjorchev.
