Macedonian Minister of Interior Oliver Spasovski believes that the positive outcome in the relations between Kosovo and Serbia will have a decisive impact on the entire region.
Spasovski for Belgrade’s “Politika” underlines that the agreement on the normalization of relations between Pristina and Belgrade, whose annex was signed in Ohrid, is assessed as a huge achievement with a regional contribution.
“Too many conflicts and wars have set back the development of our region and our countries. It is clear that security is the basis for the development of a country, but also of the region. We are tired of being called a ‘powder keg’, said Spasovski.
According to the minister, it is high time for the Western Balkans to become an example of a safe region, without open issues, with good neighborly relations and with strong regional cooperation.
