The director of the Food and Veterinary Agency (AHV), Nikolche Babovski, once again confirmed on Monday that the results of the analyzes for the alleged presence of residues of metals and heavy metals are negative, as announced by the opposition.
Babovski emphasized at a press conference that spreading false panic and alarm is a criminal act, and whether the AHV will file a complaint about it will be known, he emphasized, in the coming days.
“All results for alleged residues of metals or the presence of heavy metals in fruits and vegetables are negative. I don’t know what the purpose was to spread panic among the citizens. It seems that someone lied to someone or someone mixed up micrograms and milligrams,” said Babovski in a reply to a media question.
