Macedonia is ranked 56th in the Index of Economic Freedom. According to the data published by the American “The Heritage Foundation”, our country is among the best ranked of all countries from the former SFRY.
Among the countries of the region, Serbia is in 58th place, Montenegro is in 77th place, Bosnia and Herzegovina is in 63rd place, and Croatia is in 46th place.
The best-ranked country from the former SFRY is Slovenia, which ranked 37th.
