In April this year, 330 building permits were issued, which is 2.1 percent less compared to April last year, the State Statistics Office announced on Thursday.
The most building permits were issued in the Southeast region – 75, followed by the Eastern region with 71, the Polog region 69, Skopje 41, etc.
According to the issued building permits, the estimated value of the buildings is MKD 6,841,858,000, which is 25 percent more than in April of the previous year.
Of the total number of building permits issued, 145 (43.9 percent) are intended for high-rise buildings, 119 (36.1 percent) for low-rise construction, and 66 (20 percent) for reconstruction buildings.
