The former Minister of Economy, Xhevdet Hajredini, commenting on the placing of Ramiz Merko on the Unites States’ blacklist, stresses that an investigation is also needed for the leader of DUI, Ali Ahmeti.
According to Hajredini, it is Ahmeti who is behind Merko’s appointing, and all the staff appointed by the DUI leader answer to him. Regarding the allegations of crime and corruption of Merko, Hajredini says that his activities were hidden by the former Prime Minister Zoran Zaev.
“Zaev was the one who, in order to come and stay in power, agreed to ban the release of recordings of crimes related to and resulting from illegal wiretapping. He who hid the corruption of Merko and others, is now living in Strumica. Before the judiciary, a general overhaul is needed for the Government and the Prime Minister,” Hajredini said in several Facebook posts.
