The problem with Slupchane has been overcome. EVN teams will conduct an inspection, whoever did not pay their bills will have to pay them because no one is obliged to pay electricity for anyone else, said Macedonian Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski on Friday.

“Considering that there was a problem with billing and illegal connection to the electricity network at the indicated place, the company together with the Ministry of Economy as competent in the field of energy, had talks with the mayor of the Municipality of Lipkovo, and according to the statements of both the company and the mayor , that problem is overcome. The teams of EVN will enter and they will first do a complete inspection, who was connected illegally and will be disconnected, who did not pay their bills will have to pay them,” Kovachevski said, commenting on the intervention of the Minister of Economy to come up with a solution to the problem.
