The Socialist Party of Macedonia (SPM) points out that by accepting a monitoring mission from the European Union on the work of the Judicial Council, the government led by Kovachevski recognizes the catastrophic situation in this body and in the judicial system.
“The most incompetent prime minister logically has with him the most incompetent Judicial Council, which is a shame and humiliation for the Macedonian state and for the entire judiciary, which is at the bottom of society. Instead of tackling reforms in the judiciary, Kovachevski just continued to metastasize this privatized body that is the protector of crime and corruption, through judges who are manipulated and influenced for political and lucrative purposes,” the SPM said.
