The municipality of Centar has organized itself and starting Monday it will start cleaning the piles of garbage inside and outside the containers. As soon as the City of Skopje fails to find a solution for the functioning of the public enterprise Communal Hygiene, which is under the authority of the city, then the Municipality of Centar will not allow citizens to drown in garbage and potential infection from summer temperatures, informed the municipality.
Centar Mayor Goran Gerasimovski announced that Monday morning, starting at 8:00 am, almost all hygienists from the communal service in PE POC and part of the municipal administration will start work. All the machinery owned by the company will be used in the field, as well as additional equipment for garbage collection.
