We need to make real and radical changes in the healthcare system in Macedonia. Emigration and reforms are two key words that are intertwined and we young doctors notice it the most, because the emigration is alarming. There is no motivation, no encouragement from the state, said Dr. Aleksandra Nikolovska, member of the Executive Committee and Youth Forces of VMRO-DPMNE, at Sunday’s forum on the topic “Health”.
“Summer and winter internships are needed for students, so that the young doctor can work because of the long studies, so the young doctor will be able to learn more, but also work, and not go to Croatia over the summer to work as a waiter,” stressed Nikolovska.
