Health Ministry terminates contract for the new Shtip hospital

The contract with the contractor INTRACAT for the new hospital in Shtip was terminated on June 29. It is necessary to make a review, that is, a cross-section of the activities, after which a tender for a new contractor will be announced, according to the conclusion of the Government, informed the Macedonian Ministry of Health on Monday.
Requests were submitted for the activation of bank guarantees, in the amount of six million euros, and they have been implemented.
“The deadline for construction was June 30, 2023, and so far only 30 percent has been completed,“ reads the ministry’s press release.
