The leader of VMRO-DPMNE, Hristijan Mickoski, in an interview with Deutsche Welle evaluates as unacceptable the text of the proposal-initiative for constitutional changes, which the Government sent to the Parliament for further action.
“The Government further complicates the process by defining a text for constitutional amendments that is not only unacceptable, but is totally unreasonable, and as it is, it further threatens the positions of Macedonia within the framework of the progress towards full membership in the EU. And I would really like to hear the justification from the Government – in which part of the conclusions of the EU Council, in which part of the negotiation framework, and in which part of the protocol, this text of these constitutional amendments is contained,” said Mickoski.
