The Macedonian Minister Interior Oliver Spasovski, as part of the project of the Ministry Interior “Open Cabinet” on Thursday, was on a working visit to the Bitola Police Department, as well as the Medjitlija border crossing, where he held a working meeting with the management of the Police Station for Border Checks and Border Surveillance Medjitlija and the Regional Center for Border Affairs “Jug”.
“Regarding the passenger traffic on the southern border, it has increased, compared to the same period in 2022, by 32 percent. 669,371 passengers passed through the Medjitlia border crossing, which compared to the same period in 2022, represents an increase of 60 percent,” reads the press release of the Ministry of Interior.
