The leader of VMRO-DPMNE, Hristijan Mickoski, held a working meeting with the Chamber of Commerce of Northwestern Macedonia Monday, where they discussed the latest tax law that entered the Parliament procedure today, called the Solidarity Law.

Asked what he means by hinting that the government has hidden intentions with the adoption of this law, Mickoski stressed that the public must know and have an insight into how the money that will be collected will be spent, adding that it is hidden in the item COVID-19 aid, ‘and the COVID is long gone’.

“You will see that the funds that would eventually be collected from this law will be placed on an item in the budget where we have no transparent insight into how they will be spent, that is, they will be disguised as COVID-19 aid, even though the COVID is long gone. Today we tried to start a debate about this and for business and the public to give their opinion,” Mickoski said.
