The Macedonian Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi said Friday that if the opposition wanted elections, then it should submit a proposal to Parliament. Then I will schedule the session immediately, says Xhaferi.
“If you are thinking of elections, submit a proposal right now and I will convene the session on the same day, I will not prevent you from doing so. I will not hinder the will of the MPs, but it cannot be a decision of a party body that it wants elections. That party decision should be translated into a procedure in the Parliament by competent petitioners of the initiative,” Xhaferi pointed out in an interview with TV21’s “Summer Click” show.
