In one of the biggest scandals in Macedonian diplomacy for years, Ambassador Goran Cekov has been withdrawn from the Macedonian embassy in Tokyo, Japan by decree, sources in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told Expres.mk.
The ambassador was first assessed as guilty of sexual harassment, and then Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani and President Pendarovski made decisions for his immediate return to the country.
Goran Cekov, after the completion of the disciplinary procedure at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was given 5 days to travel from Tokyo to check out the official apartment and organize the transport of his household goods to Skopje.
The scandal happened after he was reported by two women that worked with him at the embassy in Tokyo.
