Customs seizes bonds worth USD 92 million from Turkish national

The Customs Administration has seized 184 bonds worth USD 92 million, found in a bag of a Turkish national who arrived on a flight from Istanbul, said Customs director Stefan Bogoev.

“Customs officers from the Skopje Airport Customs Office seized 184 bonds with an individual nominal value of 500,000 dollars or a total value of 92 million dollars at the entrance to the country on July 28,” said Bogoev.

The Turkish national wanted to enter the country with bonds placed in several folders and in a handbag.
