Renovation and reconstruction activities are ongoing in 55 schools ahead of the new academic year, the Ministry of Education and Science said Tuesday.
In 40 school buildings in several municipalities in the country, construction activities are being carried out to improve energy efficiency, improve sanitary and hygienic conditions and accessibility for students and people with disabilities. Financial support has been provided by the World Bank for the implementation of the Project for the Advancement of Basic Education.
