The 2023/2024 school year begins Friday for over 200.000 primary and secondary school students. For the first time, the school year is set to end on June 17, instead of June 10. In addition to the winter break, students will have a spring break from April 29 to May 5, 2024.
In line with the new concept on primary education, which is being phased in since 2020, this school year will see new educational programs for third and sixth graders, as a result of which new textbooks are being created.
