The Democratic Union (DS) reacts strongly against the SDSM campaign “We are Europe”, which is financed by the Government, and only party activists attend it.
“The Democratic Union supports all activities related to the European integration processes, aimed at radical reforms, strengthening democracy, the fight against corruption and organized crime, but organizing an election campaign with citizens’ money is against the Electoral Code,” reads the press release.
DS claims that with this campaign the Government continues to manipulate the citizens that the Macedonian language has been resolved with the Negotiating Framework, and stresses “it is not that historical, educational and identity issues are not part of the framework, and that apart from constitutional amendments, Bulgaria there are no other requirements, and there are.”
