Twenty-one-year-old A.M., who is a German national, waved the flag of the so-called Greater Albania on August 11, 2023 in the square in Tetovo, during the visit of Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, the police informed on Wednesday.
As stated in the press release from the Ministry of Interior, the Department of Criminal Police – Sector for General and Violent Crime in cooperation with the Tetovo PD cleared the criminal-legal event that happened on 11.08.2023 in the square in Tetovo, during the visit of the Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti, when the flag of the so-called Greater Albania, which committed a crime under Art. 319 of the Criminal Code.
“After operational tactical measures were taken, the identity of the person who committed the crime, A.M. (21), a German national, has been determined. In coordination with the PPO – Tetovo, a criminal report will be filed against the person under Article 319 of the Criminal Code to the competent Prosecutor’s Office for further action,” the police statement added.
