Culture minister dismisses head of Philharmonic after irregularities in her work were established

Macedonian Minister of Culture Bisera Kostadinovska-Stojchevska made a decision to dismiss Tina Ivanova, head of the Philharmonic, as well as the members of the Management Board of the institution, Press 24 reports.

The decision was made after the inspection of the work of the Philharmonic by a Commission appointed by the Ministry of Culture, on September 6.

The reasons for dismissal refers to the Law on the use and disposal of things in state and social property, according to which the director Ivanova should have acted conscientiously, economically, appropriately, orderly, in a timely manner, as well as to the concluded contracts and regulations when renting out the rooms of the Philharmonic.

The Commission discovered a series of irregularities, it is stated in the rationale according to which Minister Kostadinovska-Stojchevska dismissed Ivanova and the entire Management Board.
