A team of public prosecutors and investigators with the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office Skopje are taking actions to investigate the allegations that initially point to grounds for suspicion of crimes committed against people’s health and embezzlement in the service of the Clinic for Radiotherapy and Oncology.

“In order to investigate such allegations, the Clinic has provided extensive evidentiary material and documentation up to this point, which is already subject to analysis. The data are extracted with the treatment histories of groups of patients who received biological therapy at the Clinic, as well as the medical histories of about 40 more patients for whom a direct check of the treatment data is performed. The Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office Skopje formed a team of experts who perform an analysis of the entire economic and financial operation of the Clinic, as well as an analysis of the data from the health histories of the patients,” the Prosecutor’s Office said in a press release on Thursday.
