The measure of the Kosovo Government three months ago to introduce a ban on the import of Serbian goods influenced an increase in the country’s import of goods from North Macedonia and Albania, according to the official data of the Kosovo Statistics Agency (KSA).
According to statistics, CEFTA countries with the largest share in total imports to Kosovo are N. Macedonia (with 5.9 percent), Albania (5.4 percent), Serbia (1.3 percent), and products from Serbia are also replaced by products from The European Union.
However, as the KosovaPress agency reports, economic experts ask the Government to reconsider the measure against Serbian products, because they claim that it is detrimental to Kosovo.
