Secretly and behind closed doors, the Government made a decision three months ago to enable the start of the procedure for the establishment of three new companies for organizing online games of chance, which will be under its umbrella, that is, under the umbrella of the State Lottery of N. Macedonia.
The decision, coincidentally or not, Plusinfo.mk reports, was made under a name that does not suggest that it contains information that is of crucial importance for the gambling industry. Under the title “Decision to approve the operation of the Management Board of the joint-stock company for organizing games of chance, State Lottery of the Republic of North Macedonia” published in the Official Gazette of the RNM, no. 124 of 14.6.2023, the Government, in fact, enabled the start of the procedure for the establishment of three new companies for organizing online games of chance.
