The Ilindenska Boulevard has been shut down for traffic after pensioners from several cities across the country gathered Wednesday to protest in front of the Government building on September 20, Pensioners’ Day.
The pensioners are protesting over low pensions and demanding increases of MKD 3,500 for each pensioner instead of percentage rises in line with the Law on Pension and Disability Insurance.
