Kosovo prosecutors ready to cooperate and provide data for the Oncology case

A team of prosecutors with the Public Prosecutor’s Office (PPO) visited the Kosovo Prosecutor’s Office Monday and had a direct meeting to secure evidence in connection with the preliminary investigation related to the work of the Radiotherapy and Oncology Clinic, the Prosecutor’s Office said on Tuesday.

“From the Kosovo authorities, through the contact points in the European Justice Network, specific data necessary for checking the allegations on the basis of which the preliminary investigation was started was requested. At the same time, the Kosovo prosecutors expressed readiness for cooperation and for providing the necessary data,” reads the press release.

The PPO informs that in the coming period, depending on the needs of the preliminary investigation for securing evidence, a similar meeting will be organized in the Prosecutor’s Office in the Republic of Albania.
