The Commission for Prevention and Protection against Discrimination will file a lawsuit against the state and the Ministry of Education and Science (MES) in the next few days due to the lack of a large number of textbooks in elementary schools across the country. Out of 126 textbooks for all subjects at the beginning of the school year, the ministry did not provide 43 textbooks, that is, even 34 percent.
“…The amount of the offense will be determined by the court. I would not prejudge anything, everything is in the hands of the court. We will offer all the evidence and elements we have provided…” said the Commission’s chair Vesna Bendevska.
